Preventative Service rates

- Dissecting microscopes: $120 (1-5) 5+ call for estimate

- Lab microscopes: $165 (1-5) 5+ call for estimate

( $30 per additional head for multi-head microscopes)

- Research microscopes: $285 (1-3) 3+ call for estimate

- Repair service call: $105 (evaluation/ estimate)

Preventative service consists of cleaning the optical elements (ocular lenses, objectives,

ﬁlters), lubricating accessible parts, and fully evaluating the microscope’s mechanical

function. We also check parfocality, and the alignment of all attachments, including Kohler

illumination, Cross polarizer, Fluorescence light, Phase contrast, Hoffman modulation, etc.

Service label and service report will be provided for each microscope.

An annual preventative maintenance service is the best way to extend the life of your

instrument and keep your equipment performing optimally.
